Not sure, but if you are running CM93 it might be that it won't run on any version after v10. For some reason the CM93 discs you can find on such places as ebay say they will run on v10. They don't mention v11 or v12.

MaxSea 12 is a complete re-engineered version of the previous Maxsea's. If you do not have the license code for Cm 93 it has been so far not possible to make V12 read Cm93.
Cheers

Well, that depends on the CM93 edition. I have edition 3 running just fine on v12 .The can easily determine the edition because edition 3 is in a subdirectory named CM93_3 and has just a handful of big files.
The same "trick" to use these charts under v10 also works for v11 and v12.

cheers,
Nick.

Gypsy,

You won't be able to run CM93 ed.2 on it so the search is for the ed.3 world kit and the "trick" to get it activated. It's all there, Google is your friend ;-)

But I must say that I prefer that 10.3.2.1 I think it is. I also use the new ed.3 cmap on that and have it enabled for AIS. Beyond that, I want MaxSea TimeZero with my new Furuno radar/plotter. This puts you $1,200.- back though.

cheers,
Nick.

MaxSea

Hi Nick,
Thanks for that info. I have been using MaxSea from 10 to now 12.6. The origanal V12 left a lot to be desired ,but over time they have done away with a few of the bugs and I find it a lot friendlier now. My Maxsea is networked to the Furuno plotter and I love it . It allows (very slow!) to use the Cmap from the plotter. The annoying bit is the inability to run a separate Cmap charting when the plotter is off. Consequently I had to resort to old BSB raster charts for route planning.( V12 allows one button switch between raster and vector charts) I will persue the possible option you mention
Cheers, Peter
