I've been running Rose Point software's Coastal Explorer (the people who wrote Maptech's software) on a WinXP I made under Virtual box on both
Linux (Ubuntu and Mint) and OS X for three or four years now. Extremely stable on
Linux, somewhat less so on OS X...
