We just left GT going back the normal
route up the Exuma's. In the summer you stand a chance of getting slammed by the afternoon squalls that develop over Andros if you go up the west side. If we are in a hurry we cut across the south side of
Nassau from about Hawksbill. I don't see where it would be that much faster unless you were already down in the Raggeds for instance. Biggest problem right now is there will be no
wind next week. We are picking up a friend in Stainel Monday and dropping her in
Nassau. Really hope the
wind comes back by then as it has been a real pleasure sailing up here this week with no
diesel use.
