Looking for anchorages by Varadero Cuba
Hey everyone - I'm considering a trip to Varadero Cuba after Christmas and I know I can clear customs there. Any advice on good anchorage close to Varadero would be appreciated...

I and a friend went to Varadero in 2002. We were met by a gun boat at night about 20 miles off the coast of cuba. They could not talk English and we couldn't talk spanish. The place we went was a marina hand cut from the coral. We stayed there for about a week and then went up the coast to havana. We only stayed the one night and we were watched very close. Mac
