Funny........

They sailed that puppet across the Atlantic because she didn't want to fly on a plane to help the environment. But, that guy, whatever his name is, got on a jet the next week and flew to Australia to go to the Hobart Sydney race.

Guess that plane trip didn't impact the environment...........

Hey!

The original thread was great because of the navigation, weather routing stuff.

There are obviously good arguments to be had about climate change, but I think the videos are great for the SEAFARING stuff in there, and that was my purpose to post.

Don't get this thread closed/deleted as well, please!

I'd accord the attempt to disguise the return journey thread as a sailing case history much more credibility as an interest in sailing matters if it had been about Joe the welder from New Jersey who built his steel boat in his backyard over ten years of spare time and had his wife knock up the sails on her Singer to sail across the Atlantic than a publicity stunt by a abused minor at the behest of the CC/AGW zealots.
