iTouch as a Secondary GPS . . . Where Are the Charts ?
The Admiral has an iTouch.
I bought a Dual GPS cradle that you plug on it and voilà you have a GPS
I download some software through iTunes...
And I tried it today when sailing

It works: I got position, course and speed etc
(even if slightly different from the indications given by the primary garmin I have on the Boat)

What is missing is the charts!!
I cannot find where I can download some Chart?
Anybody as an idea?

There are several marine navigation apps for iPod touch that have marine charts. Do a search in iTunes for "boating".

How do I download them on the iTouch? iTouch, iPad etc can only get apps and software through iTunes..
They have no USB plug

Several apps including memory map, earthnc, iNavX can download and use the free NOAA marine charts.

OK here I'm : the GPS cradle with the ITouch in hand
I have download via iTunes the iNavx
a list of chart is proposed and when I click on the on I want I I get the following message:

"WARNING Unable to download Miami to Marathon and Florida Bay Page A left panel (operation could not be completed invalid argument)"

And that's it and this happen with all chart so what do I do!??
