Is there a charts and pilot exchange thread or centralized resource?

I am looking for a thread or resource where we can post and swap charts, pilots, books etc.

Electronic or paper does not matter.

I happen to have several books about sailing/voyaging I am happy to give to others, and I am looking for paper charts of the west coast...

Thanks for any input!

Re: Is there a charts and pilot exchange thread or centralized resource?

Try the following:

Maritime Safety Information

(publications section of particular interest)

and:

Nautical Charts & Pubs

(actually the whole NOAA site is quite interesting)

Seems the US government has already established a chart and pilot exchange.

I still have several books (not all navigation related) to give to others if they are interested, including the following:

US sailing textbooks basic keelboat, basic cruising, bareboat cruising, and coastal navigation

Seaworthiness the forgotten factor Marchaj

The sailors book of small cruising sailboats Henkel

Inspecting the aging sailboat Casey

The complete trailer sailor Gilbert

water sailing">Blue water sailing on a budget Elfers

The sextant handbook Bauer

Sailing Evans

The essentials of living aboard a boat Nicholas

Twenty small sailboats to take you anywhere Vigor

Spinnaker handling Aarre

Over and Out.

Figuring I'd never use them again I just took a big pile of paper charts to Sidney boaters exchange (west coast to Skagway)
