Can anyone point me to an iPad app for planning voyage routes, ports, passage durations, etc? Would be fun to plan out a trip from the couch ;-p

Garmin Bluechart app for ipad lets you plan routes and has integrated weather, Active Captain and some other cool features.

I have used Navionics on my iPad, it has a bunch of cool features. I just downlaod the area that I want and it doesn't use up alot of memory.

I use iNavX with Navionics charts for route planning along the US East Coast. I use Charts and Tides to access Active Captain for recent information on ports and near in routes. This works well along the East Coast. I can't comment on other regions. I'm usually using the iPad on top of a paper chart and in conjunction with a cruising guide when I'm in the actual route building mode.
