How to update inavx charts on ipad

On my ipad air 2 I have installed Inavx , great , very pleased with it.
I bellieve they work with navionic charts , and I was wondering how you get a update through.
I bought the charts last year in april , so I still have a month to go before the option for update expires.
Could anyone help me through the proces of updating ?
I have the inavx installed on several ipads so if I update on one of them will the update be projected on the others aswell ? Or does each ipad needs to be handled ?
I did buy the 10$ inavx fee to get updates done , but never performed one .

If you had SeaIQ the update function for NOAA charts is built in, and it integrates directly with Active captain and its half the cost of InavX. I'm working on building a raspberry Pi based NMEA multiplexer so I can send AIS infor to SeaIQ on the ipad over Wifi next!
