How to buy or download update maps

may be this question is asked before but i cant find it, however i want to know where can i download or buy cm93v2 map updates after 2011 that currently i have?
can i use those updates in Opencpn?
do we have any software for editing cmaps or not?

Not to put too fine a point on it but: Maps are land based cartography. Regardless of marketing and naming of products; charts are those cartographic representations that we use at sea.
