Hi Lockie,
Read this a week ago and was pretty sure I use to do this a couple of years ago. So I reinstalled Franson GPSGate that takes a real com port and creates virtual com
ports to be used by many applications, I guess like your NMEA
WiFi muxer.
I started it, setup the real com port for my
GPS and two virtual com
ports. I then started
Google earth, opened the Tools/GPS and selected the Realtime/Nmea and checked the "Automatically follow the Path" and
Google earth immediately went to my location using one of the virtual com ports. See my attachment.
So it can be done.
