Re: GPS Receiver Evermore ?

I bought one of these from a seller in the UK, Gomatics, got ripped off.

The unit didn't work, when I asked for help they got real arrogant and started blaming me and my Raymarine Chartplotter Radar setup. It was supposed to be an easy Raymarine Raystar replacement.

After about 20 hours of trying everything including a laptop and hyperterminal, they said they would send a replacement. I waited 4-5 weeks followed up and they claimed they never recieved mine back.... Basically they had no intention of replacing it.

Net is save your money, buy a real GPS from a real company, not a cheap chinese copy from a company run out of some kids moms basement.

Moving on, I bought a Huminbird 50 channel, it worked right out of the box, nice fast aquire, only drawback is it draws lots of power.
