I now have a simpler way to fix the GE API so GE2KAP and the OpenCPN GE plugin will work with the newer versions of GE.

You can download it by clicking on this link:

http://gdayii.ca/Downloads/Fix_GE_API.zip

Then unzip to some folder like C:\FIX_GE_API the unzip password is: phiggins

Fix_GE_API is not an executable file, it's a REX file??

So no, no success for me.

I guess you didn't read the Prerequisites. You have to have OORexx installed which makes the Fix_GE_API.rex executable.
