Lots of folks have helped us over the years, so we're doing what we can to help other cruisers.
As for how well they
work, GE derived KAPs are absolutely magic! GE gets their georeferencing absolutely spot-on. GE doesn't show everything, but where they show something, that's where it is. Which is MUCH better than the
charts we have to
work with out in SE
Asia. All
charts here can be out by as much as a
mile. We recently gave out 30GB(!) of
Indonesia GE KAPs to the 40 boats on the 2015 Sail
Indonesia rally. Three boats that didn't bother to use them had arguments with
reefs, & one of those boats couldn't be pulled off & was
lost.
