great lakes, and scary things, I’ve always had a question about this:
I did an overnight
passage across lake Erie In an easterly direction.
All over the chart there were these things marked as “well
head, unlit”
I was scared to death all night long. What were those? I’m picturing like the
head of an artesian well, sticking up over the
water ready to put a hole in the
hull. Are those below the
water also? There were so many of them. we didn’t hit any or see anything at all
