I attempted to upgrade my
Garmin BlueChart
charts and possibly
purchase another and discovered that they discontinued the app. I quickly downloaded the entire chart I purchased years ago before they discontinue support for it as well. I see they now have a new
Garmin ActiveCaptain app, but I haven't checked it out yet.
I did see that Garmin also bought out
Navionics. I have the
iPhone version of
Navionics, but not the HD version for the
iPad. Garmin stated that they'll continue supporting customers of Navionics, but what does that mean? I don't want to buy new
charts with so much up in the air.
So, the question is, does anyone have any news about the direction Garmin and Navionics are going?
