... but even with this list, it's not so easy to find stuff so I've actually been working on making all downloadable nautical charts available through an easy to use, map-based interface: https://www.thenavtable.com

I only have NOAA and NGA ones so far though. If you try it out, I would love your feedback!

Any PDF can be easily converted to a useable chart KAP or MBTile but the most time consuming bit and the bit most subject to errors is establishing the reference points.



Adding a section for each chart allowing the input of coordinates, by say registered users, for the chart extremities would be a really cool feature. Anyone downloading a chart would then have verified data to convert it into a chart.

It is so frustrating how residents of Australia still have to pay to access data and products that are produced by government agencies. As tax payers we pay for the acquisition of this data and the production of the marine charts, but then we have to pay again to access them.

Does anyone know sources where you can download good satellite charts (KAP or MBTILES) of the Mediterranean/Adriatic Sea?
