We no longer visit a favorite land place getaway, Albion,
California, since the LNM provided notice that the
fog activated horn was being replaced by a
VHF activated horn. The morurnful drone of the horn was a part of the attraction and a soporific for both of us. Oh well, progress has a
price. I have considered taking a handheld and playing illegal games, but decided it was a poor idea.
), Trinity House and the Commissioners for Irish Lights have decommissioned all sound signals over the last ten years, we just don't have foghorns!
