Does new Pixel have geomagnetic sensor

The specs for the new Google Pixel Android smartphone look impressive. I have searched several sites and none list the new phone as having a geomagnetic sensor (compass function). This would make it a deal breaker for some navigation purposes. But I have found that web sites dont always have a full list of specs.

Does anyone have any more details.

I recently bought a Samsung J7 only to get it home and find it cant use compass apps. I also love using my google "Sky" app which is eunuched without a geomagnetic sensor.

According to GSMarena.com, the pixel xl has a compass.

according to madebygoogle.com, both the pixel and pixel xl have magnetometers.
