Cruising Guide for Fl. Keys

I tried a search but no luck. I am looking for the latest and greatest cruising guide for the keys.
Thinking of doing the keys rather than the Exumas. Any any input is certainly invited

Lots of changes in the Exumas this year, Denny. Just heard they're putting a septic tank in at Volleyball beach. And Queens Dock is getting a house built there. The ARG people burned up the picnic tables.

As far as the keys go try Frank Papys
Cruising Guide Florida Keys, Bahamas Cruising Guide, Frank Papy

I have his but it's a 1990 version. Haven't been there since 1990 and then I only got as far as Key Largo.

Re: Cruising Guide for Fl. Keys

I used Capt. Papy's guide too. I don't know if any of the Keys guides have been updated in a while, except the Waterway Guide Southern Edition (updated each year -- current edition is 2014: http://www.waterwayguide.com/shipsto...roducts_id=191), but the Keys is just 2 of the 22 chapters (it covers the whole Atlantic coast of Florida, plus the Gulf coast of FL all the way to Brownsville TX). Hope this helps...happy cruising!

We used (past 2 years) the Dozier's Guide mostly as a reading material. However, Active Captain might be the best option. It works well on Ipad and almost any Android device. Good luck and have fun!
