Creating Charts from Google Earth

Inaccurate charts have been the bane/death of sailors and boats forever. There now seems to be at least one solution. See creating/correcting Charts from/with Google Earth

BTW, I was contacted by the author to contribute to this article (???!!!???). My whole experience with this is simply to have made some charts - I have never contributed to its development like so many others have. Don't know how my name was found, but I sent her directly to Paul for the goods.
