cmap - print a screen problem

We are wanting to capture the image on the screen whilst viewing charts on cmap, however having done Alt and Print Screen simultaneously and Control V whilst pasting it into a Word document, we are left with a black image. We've used this method many times using other software and it works just fine but not with cmap - does anyone know how to do this? Any words of wisdom will be gratefully received as we are making no progress. Thanking you in advance.

Try MWSnap. It's a free screen capture utility.

I have seen other programs where the Windows print screen doesn't work, but MWSnap does it for me.

Try pasting it in PAINT instead of Word.

Are you using PC Planner NT to view the CMap charts on your PC? If so, you can save the chart image on the screen as an image file in either JPG or PNG format, I don't remember which.
