Hey everyone, we took the boat up last week. 39 hours straight. Would have been more like 34, but the water pump went,(thankfully I had a spare on board) and we missed the tide at the East River. So we enjoyed a nap anchored up next to Lady Liberty to wait out the tide.
Other than that it was pretty straight forward. We didn't go through the Cape May Canal as my air draft is 57.5ft.
We followed other's advice on Cruiser Forums and took a left after Brandywine Shoal towards G5 and then just scooted along the coast from there.
We found both the NOAA and Navionicscharts to be pretty spot on in this location, on that day.
Anyway, she is finally home, and I can't thank the forum members enough for all of their support and knowledge.
Glad you made it safely! It has been an awesome few days for sailing. Though, the Atlantic is still quite cold (I was shivering this past weekend!) I am sure you had a great trip.
I hope you enjoy your new boat, there is a lot of season left. Use it!
