I'm leaving the Age of Dinosaurs into the Age of Man. Any recommendations for apps that you have used effectively with quality offshore buoy reports? Thanks in advance.

For OpenCPN, it looks like the sQuiddio plugin should allow this, but apparently you need to download the info each time (i.e. clicking the icon later might give stale data).
For the US, I just toggle on the NDBC layer in SEAiq:
Aqua Map also has weather buoys:
It looks like there are a variety of dedicated apps as well, but I prefer to limit the number of apps I have.
Not sure if you have found a good buoy app yet but I have used an app called "OutCast" which includes buoy data. But I also just added NOAA Buoys Live Marine Weather. I don't see a major advantage yet to the NOAA app but still working with it. One disadvantage to it is you have to pay to turn off the ads.

Thank you, everyone for your feedback.

I forgot, SailFlow is also a good app to check out. There is buoy data there though it is a little bit harder to identify the buoys unless you know what you are looking at.
