Question Aruba - Miami delivery

Anyone know the route? Expecting to go W of Dominican republic then N coast of Cuba. Is it best to stay on Cuban coast or go via Bahamas for the last bit? (Will be traveling on a Canadian passport and Canadian reg boat).
Boat has collision damage to deck & superstructure and may be solo so want to avoid long sea streatches or areas likely to get severe sea conditions. Any recommendations for port of call or to avoid would be appreciated. Draft is 6ft. range 125m/day. Traditional sailboat.
Thanks

Re: Aruba - Miami delivery

Given boat damage I would be more inclined to head to Turks and C and then up through the Bahamas, take a route that places you between enough stopping points as it sounds like staying out rough seas and single handed is not a good thing.

Are you thinking maybe Pitts Town after after Haiti? Boat is seaworthy but want to avoid windward sailing (who doesn't!)
