AIS GME Transmitting not receiving

Hi all,
I have been cruising in Indonesia for the last few months. About to hot the Singapore Straits, so of course my AIS has decided to play up. I am transmitting but not receiving. When I plus the AIS into the ProAIS monitor system on my computer it is telling me everything is fine, power, antenna, transmitting, receiving etc, also there is a tab for other vessels and it is identifying all the vessels around me, I am just not seeing them on my monitor. The vhf, standard horizon is also not showing my coordinates as usual and the POS update is not happening, this receives data and transfers the data to my Garmin GPS 1020x monitor. I have looked at all the connections, except for into the back of the monitor. I do not know if somehow my settings have changed. Any help would be much appreciated.
