Re: 6' Draft into Crystal River, FL?

I think we spotted your boat yesterday on the way back in from Dog Island. I couldnt make out her name but the home port said Atlanta, GA. We and another boat are probably gonna start watching for a weather window to make the jump starting this coming Monday.

We're still at Carrabelle. We, too, had to wait for a few things. Looks like we'll be looking for a weather window next week.

There is a channel that goes all the way to Pete's marina.
But I do see several shallow soundings on the edges of the channel (esp when you are past Indian mound).

I have both navionics and openCPN running. Unfortunately neither of them are real clear on channel depths. From what I read it still looks like it's best to transit the channel just after high tide.

CC,
You may want to stay where you are at and find a good hole for some weather possibly coming your way in a few days.

Yeah. I've been watching that system for the last few days
At least 3 models show it hitting south Florida but we're gonna "hide and watch.". Thanx fo the advice, though
