Re: Why Are Next-Gen Anchors Considered 'Better' ?

I was under the impression that Rocna anchors are manufactured in Canada China and possibly a third country.

I was considered getting a stainless Rocna if I could get a made in Canada model.

I was disappointed to read the following on the Rocna web site:

"Each Rocna is made with great care in Chinese facilities to our stringent specifications and standards, undergoing multiple quality assurance checks during the manufacturing process. Quality control is led by Ningbo Jiada Specialty Metals Ltd, our wholly owned facility in Ningbo. Our staff utilize procedures developed by our head office in Vancouver, and individually inspect every single anchor before it is allowed to leave the factory."

Oh well, I guess they don't make them here anymore.
