bought a sailboat with this anchor winch in the foto but cannot make out the name of the builder. perhaps somebody can help,

Well, the Ozma of fiction was a magic lady--and so I hope your boat is to you. Sorry, I don't know about that windlass, looks sorta agricultural, which may be good in the long run. When you tear it down, you may find all the parts are pretty easy to come by. I hope so.
