Who has a Leroy somer windlass

Hello everyone ,

I have a question about my Leroy Somer windlass .
First of all , I gave up on this winch , out of production , hardly any parts to find anymore .
And the ones which can be found are outrageously expensive , a new set (casette) carbon brushes is 300 Euro , so it's time to move on.
I've decided , infact I did a few days ago , to buy a new windlass.
Yesterday I was caught off guard by the seller asking me what type of gypsy I fancy.
He gave me 4 possibilities :

- ISO
- DIN 766
- G4 ( 5/16 " )
- BBB ( 5/16" )

The G4 and the BBB is probably not what I need. Being a French boat ( Jeanneau) and all.
Leaves the ISO and the DIN .
They say ISO and DIN are virtually the same , but yet they make different gypsies for it.

As I don't really know what gypsy I have , I was wondering if someone with the same windlass could help out , that way I could be on my way.
The thing is, I'm home and my boat and old gypsy is wintering in Sicily .

Would be nice if a member has the info .
