Using an electric windlass as Manual

I just got a boat and the electric lewmar windlass isn't working. I unscrewed the middle bolt 1/2 turn to retrieve anchor but after going one turn with the winch handle in the other hole it tighten itself again. I thought the winch handle was touching it but that is not the case. Any suggestions?

So I guess you need the manual recovery kit and to remove the cone, probaly floating around the boat somewhere.
