Summer Haul outs in Northern Coast of Dominican Republic

We would like to leave our boat in DR this early summer and come back the following fall and enjoy the hiking so would like to have info. on summer haul outs that are recommended Also maybe the south side of Puerto Rico or any good hurricane holes - we hate to rush the journey and would like to stay somewhere that's safe and we can enjoy when we return.

Luperon, N coast of the DR. It is a cheap, little 3rd world town with a few marinas and haul out yards. Well protected from hurricanes.

Just be careful you don´t get stuck there forever!
