The last part is not true, think about all the good things that have come from altered consciousness..IE, look at all the things the Inca,Mayan, and Aztecs did after ingesting Pyote,Mushrooms, maybe a little weed....hell they built pyramids and rolled peoples heads down them...now thats using your "head"...DVC

No idea, the thread seems to have drifted on to discussing drugs and hunters. Perhaps we should return to the original subject

OP may want to show the Squatter this thread - a fair chance he would either lose the will to live and jump overboard or be found onboard with strange dents on his head .

Re: Squatter On Your Mooring Ball ( Canada )
All,
I went out to the harbour on Saturday and the boat has moved. He is now rafted up to another sailboat. Hopefully they know each other......
Now that the shackle on the ball was free from his lines I was able to take proper measurements for a lock. Just have to pray that no one else ties on before I can finish building it.
Frustrated enough that I am going to take a 1/2 day off work to get it done. Otherwise it won't be until next Saturday.

What a victory! I am so impressed with how you handled this; i must say with much more patience and calmness than I would have. I have been following your post, with no comment because I had nothing to add -- I know nothing of mooring or the area.
I am very happy that the situation is resolved. Get that lock on -- quick

Re: Squatter On Your Mooring Ball ( Canada )
For the record, I feel rather contrite after my previous post and suggestion to tow her out on a dark night and sink her. Delighted that it worked out well for you, Elysium. Just another example of why my foolish responses to intrusions in my life have got me into deep poo-poo over the years... cheers, Capt Phil

Easier to hypnotize that way....sometimes it pays to pack your own lunch on those gov't jobs.
Speaking of drifting keep a good head on your shoulders in case your former squatter wasn't involved in the civic minded boat move. A smile and a beer might alter his state....

Could you please post the patent application number that covers this technique? Those of us unfortunate enough to suffer under less advanced circumstances will be eternally grateful.

Re: Squatter On Your Mooring Ball ( Canada )
But of course the Squatter may still think that it was OP who messed with his boat (if he can remember where he left it ).
Probably will creep aboard OP's boat in the dead of night armed with a cutlass and a black heart........
.....now that the stakes have been raised I think that OP needs a(nother) plan.
