Rusted Anchor

Anchors are certainly a sensitive topic with sailors so here goes....

I've used a Rocna for my last three boats and loved them. We just bought a boat that came with a 45# CQR that has a lot of surface rust. The anchor chain is a little rough as well. Times past I could get stuff like that re-galvanized. Seems like that is getting harder to find. Any other options to suggest. My wife suggested putting it out in somebody's yard as a nautical ornament. I hate to do that and spend the money for a new anchor when a CQR should work just fine in Chesapeake mud.
