Pro-Fish Lewmar Jammed

Hello,
my Pro-Fish 1000 does not go into freefall any more. The clutch doesn't open. She runs fine in power mode - fall and lift - but I decided to take her apart and maybe a grease would help.
Now, I undid the shoulder screw and locked the plunger, but I simply can't turn/undo the Drive Cap.
I am a bit afraid to break something if I start using huge levers to turn the Drive Cap anticlockwise as instructed.

Anybody had the same problem ? Any solutions ?

thanks in advance,
sailingpeanut
