Need info on Bulwagga anchor...

if you own a bulwagga i'd like to know about it. i can't seem to find one locally to look at and the pictures on their website are very indistinct (intentional???).

i'm concerned about the strength of construction. how well is it welded together and is their enough weld to keep it from coming apart? are their any bolts? what about the shank?

just from looking at pictures it doesn't appear to be very strong, like say a cqr anchor.

Ditto for us. We had a 17 on our old Mariner 28 sloop, on about 15' of chain/200' nylon rode and never, ever dragged in LI Sound, even in squalls with 40 knot winds.

I wish I could say the same about the 80 lb Manson we have on our 26 ton Formosa 51. I gotta remove the stainless 6000lb SWL swivel (tends to hang up) and see if that helps...
