Mounting Maxwell vwc 800 Horizontally in Anchor Well ?

we have a catalina 320 and want to know if can put maxwell vwc 800 horizontally in anchor well.It has chain hause? but feel can turn it to assist chain not slipping.Appreciate suggestions thanks the vwc 500 fits but have the 800.

Dunno for sure but the VWC 1000 can I believe so it might work.

As long as there's no drainage issue at the base it should be fine. I have 2 standing verticle, and they work flawless.......i2f
