Hi looking to buy either the lofrans x2 or maxwell RC 10 10 chain and rope gypsy, vertical windlass anyone with recommendations good or bad, thanks in adavance

Both are in the top 2 of their class.
Buy the cheapest.

I specify anchor systems for a job so know winches very well and get feedback from the users all day everyday. If I needed a winch that size the decision would be between those 2. I'd probably lean 51% to 49% towards the Maxwell.
