Lofrans Windlass Gypsy

Hello,

I've got a question for the brain trust out there..

We need new anchor rode (around 200ft of chain)

We have a Lofrans Cayman 88 on our FP Belize 43, the previous owner said the chain was 10mm. I'm trying to find out if the gypsy is compatible with Imperial measured chains (presumably 5/16th??)

Another question relates to the "Mailspeed Marine Chain Links" that I came across on the web. Do these work?

Cheers to all,

Jon

Apparently, the Cayman 88 is available with Gipsy(s) for several different chain sizes (Part #276):
ie: 6mm (a), 7mm (b), 8mm ©), 5/16" HT (d), 10mm (e), 3/8" DIN (f), 3/8" BBB (g), & 3/8" HT (h).

I suggest that you remove the gyspsy, and take it with you when shopping for chain.
