Lewmar vs Lofrans vs Maxwell

I apologize in advance if this subject has been beat to death, but here it goes!
I'm finally upgrading my Chain/Windlass on my boat. I have a CT38 performance cruiser that weighs in at about 17,000 lbs. I have just bought 5/16 HT chain and I'm now focused on the windlass.
My research up till now has narrowed it down to the Lewmar H3, the Lofrans Tigris and I've been considering the Maxwell HRC-10 or HWC-1500. I would seem to gravitate towards the Tigris, but have read about controller issues on other posts. The Maxwell windlasses are new to me, anyone with experience here would certainly be of benefit to me. I need to stay under $3000.00 US

Don't know of pricing in your area but Maxwell is a very well considered brand.

Within your budget go for the most powerful HWC 1500.

More watts the better for durability and reliability.

Thanks downunder for the input. I do like the fact that Maxwell is from New Zealand. Alan Warwick designed my boat being from New Zealand it just seems appropriate.
Are you familiar with the HRC series (the HRC 10 in particular)? I have not seen much about them in the forums

No unfortunately but in planning i have come down to Maxwell or Muir.

I expect l will end up with Maxwell.
