Lewmar V700 Switch Waterproof ?

Hi, dumb question. I've got a Lewmar V700 anchor winch that I recently purchased. I would like to install the panel mount up / down switch that was supplied as part of the package in the cockpit, but it doesn't look to be a waterproof type. This surprises me, as I would have thought that the practical place for the switch to be mounted would be either on the outside of the boat somewhere or otherwise in a position vulnerable to getting wet.

So, can anyone tell me, is the Lewmar supplied switch for the V700 waterproof?

I have the same question: I want to install the switch in an anchor locker that I spray down frequently. Will it be ok? I cannot seem to find any indication of water resistance or waterproofing. Should I have bought the “toggle” switch instead??
