Keefe windlass help/manual

Hey I just purchased a Valiant40 with a keefe windlass on it. Having trouble finding a manual for it online. Cannot figure out how to operate it manually. can get the crank to turn to pull up but cannot figure out how to let it down. The motor is shot, or maybe the solenoid? But Id like to figure out how to use it manually.

Did you ever figure out how to get the windlass to let down the anchor? I’m in the same boat.
