Anchor rode

Yes, I will keep the anchor hatch, but split it in two, one half will have to be fixed, as the chain goes over the top of it and will also hold the hawse pipe, which I will raise up 100mm to provide more room for fall for the chain in the locker. I will keep the 16 mm nylon rope, but ditch the 22mm polypropelene rode. At present there is 45m of 10 mm chain and 80( I think) metres of 22mm rope.

I am getting a clearer picture of what is needed. I will be sailing around the Malacca straights and the west coast of Thailand, then down the west coast of Indonesia, Sumatra, Java, Bali, quite often 30 metres deep there.
