Does anyone recognize this winch?

Hi everyone,

I have the winch as in attached pictures, and I have no idea how to remove it. It’s on a Ferretti Altura 42 from 1978, and Ferretti themselves told the previous owner to buy a new boat, and me they give the silent treatment. Thanks in advance for all the advise you can give (except of course not to buy a Ferretti, that’s obviously too late!).

The last pic is upside down, I already removed the bolts, as you might notice.

Looks like the star type bolt on the second picture may hold the plate together. Have you tried getting a star wrench there?

Still stuck to the deck with caulk?

I hoped it were caulk, but I can stick a knives blade under it everywhere, so that doesn’t seem to be the problem.

I also retried to make the second picture; there are no obvious bolts left anymore. The rod at the right was some sort of stopper, but it isn’t a bolt.

Is there a C-clip on the shaft at the base?
