Interesting. I think I will take the danforth off the bow as it will be much easier to cockpit deploy than the Bruce, especially without as much chain. Just more weight in the bow now with the chain and the Bruce though. I might get rid of the ten foot Avon that weighs about 150 pounds and is lashed in front of the mast though. To get to the fore peak I crawl over it and use the lashing straps as handholds. It actually feels safer than walking about, but who knows how much weight it can take upside down
