Do a Google Image Search for "Clevis Claw"
these are common in rigging, used for a thousand solutions every day in industry, no need to have a "Marine" one.
A bit of feedback. I tried to buy off your website, there is no provision there to sell/ship to Australia. Go2Marine sell your product, but want $121 to ship to Australia. Amazon list you as the seller, no sales outside US. At that point I gave up trying to buy. Maybe Defender or suchlike may start marketing your product?
Meanwhile, think I might drop down to my local machine shop and see what they would charge to make one out of SS. Nice concept, thanks.

Using Amsteel as a chain stop. Also using Amsteel with a kleimheist as a snubber.
Thinking that a long loop of Dyneema attached to chain and brought back through hawsers would be a good snubber. For flex 3strand could be attached to Dyneema and brought back to the spring cleat.
Gives a high chafe line at chafe points.
Playing with this now. My mooring penant is Dyneema with Braided line before it meets the hawser. Currently riding on a Amsteel kleimheist loop. With braided line for spring. Winds are 25 knots. [B]A loop if Amsteel is passed through my chain from [b]ow cleat to ow cleat as a chain stop. Hope I explained this set up well. Your thoughts.
Hi Sabray,
I'm looking into using Amsteel as my chain stop using this same setup also. I'm thinking of using two brummel splices on each end with the eye fed through the bow cleat/around horns. Or did you splice a continuous loop and lockstitch?

Well, bought the hook, at reasonable postage. Just received it, no chance to try it yet. Must say it is an impressive piece of kit, very heavily built. Thanks Greg
