Anchoring in the Inside Passage (PNW)

We are taking a Catalina 36 from Vancouver to Prince Rupert this August, through the Inside Passage. What kind of anchoring conditions should we expect? Are there plenty of protected anchorages along the way, or not so many? Typical depths, sea bed, swing room? Do we need extra gear to tie around rocks close to the shore, or to drill hooks onto rock faces?

Thanks
