Anchor Rescue

I read a trail of posts about the product anchorrescue.com. It didn't appear that anyone had actually used one at the time. Any updates on this? The idea of an anchor retrieval system that is always deployed, even when you didn't think there was much risk of a snagged anchor, sounds good to me.

Anyone got one?
Anyone use it whenever they anchor?
Anyone had an anchor snag and had to used it in anger?

Re: Anchor Rescue

We had something similar which didn't work with a swivel. Your money would be better spent on some scuba gear and lessons which will serve multiple purposes including anchor retrieval, underwater work and inspection and bottom cleaning.

I guess the water is warmer where you are! I do have a ticket from the British Sub Aqua Club from my youth but I think my scuba diving days are behind me, certainly in the UK

Re: Anchor Rescue

I shared a Taco with the owner or Anchor Rescue down in La Paz, Mexico last week. Mike and his wife Wendy are enjoying the Sea of Cortez.
I like the unit and Mike just made a YouTube Video about it:
