Anchor chain stamped HC IT, what does it mean

Hi all,

On my 10mm chain is stamped HC IT, what does this mean?

Have 50m 10mm chain and wanna add another 40m but have no glue what manuafacturer, grade etc. the existing chain is. From measuring its an 10mm ISO 4565 chain and the lofrans chain nut is stamped diameter 10, R30 and 3/8 H.T
It’s pretty new and surface looks still very good.

Figured it out, it’s MC IT which stands for manufacturer Maggi chantery from Italy. So not some unknown stuff but also not the best quality one from 2 reviews I found. Well it still looks quite good so keeping it. It’s a 10mm iso grade 40

We have maggi chain and that is indeed what that is. We have been very happy with Maggie and the rep here in the states where awsome to work with. Galvanizing is much better than current Acco.

We got ours in June. Still looks new and have been using it every day since owning it. Picked it up in RI, sailed to Maine now in the Bahamas and sailing south from here. Call the rep in the US if you have any questions, super nice and knowledgeable. Ours is g40 grade.
