Anchor/Chain: 12 kg/50 m vs. 20 kg/42 m

definitely go for the heavier anchor. provided it's strong enough, weight in the chain is no real benefit

i echo noelex : look at using a smaller size high tensile grade chain, to save weight - or in this case get a longer length for the same weight

little while ago we replace our 90m of 10mm G30 chain with same length of 8mm G40 grade. very similar strength but saved abt 50kg weight
